The Department of Biology at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) invites applications for a tenure stream appointment in Behavioural Ecology and Entomology, at the rank of Assistant Professor, expected to commence July 1, 2021. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Biology, a minimum of one year of post-doctoral experience, and demonstrated excellence in research and teaching. We are searching for an outstanding entomologist who addresses fundamental questions in evolutionary biology by employing field and laboratory experiments in non-model insects. Suitable applicants will integrate comparative, molecular and statistical methods to investigate life-history evolution and sexual selection in both natural and urban environments.
