Responsibilities: We are seeking a permanent position for a research ecologist with strong statistical and spatial modeling skills to develop a research program in the Southern Rockies / Southwestern United States. Research may focus on species, populations, communities and/or ecosystem level questions, but should focus on one of the following topics: spatial ecology, development and analysis of broad-scale monitoring programs, disease ecology, or assessment of how forest restoration treatments affect species, populations or communities. This position will be housed in the research branch of the USDA Forest Service.
