Program Overview: Serves as a member of the Rifle Ranger District recreation/trails team, and helps to maintain, repair, and build trails throughout the district to ensure the protection of wildlife habitat and water quality in addition to improving recreational access to forest lands. The Rifle Ranger District has over 100 miles motorized and non-motorized trails and a number of dispersed camping sites throughout the district. The primary duty of this position is to support the team in accomplishing trail maintenance and clearing, trail construction, sign installation, and patrolling dispersed camping areas across the entire district.
