Overview

Bristol Zoological Society are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse with knowledge and experience of nursing zoo, exotic pet, or wildlife species to join our veterinary team.

Duties will include all aspects of zoo veterinary nursing including:

• Clinical work
• Laboratory work
• Record keeping
• Maintaining equipment
• Ordering supplies

A relevant qualification in zoo animal or exotic pet nursing and/or anaesthesia is desirable and a working knowledge of ZIMS (Zoological Information Management System) would be an advantage.  You will be expected to assist with teaching and supervision of veterinary and MSc students so some teaching experience would also be an advantage.
