The Vice President for Landscape Conservation is based in the Washington, D.C., headquarters and oversees Defenders’ work to promote landscape-scale wildlife conservation, focusing on four program areas: federal public lands management; private lands conservation; climate change adaptation; and wildlife-responsible renewable energy development.
