The Volunteer Program Coordinator will support the Community Engagement Department by leading the organization’s robust volunteer programs both externally and internally. This role will steward, manage, and foster volunteer events and grow partnerships throughout San Diego County. The role will coordinate logistics for the organization’s weekly cleanup events and self-led cleanup programs from start to finish. The Volunteer Program Coordinator will lead and manage the following community programs: various community cleanup events (65+ annually), Adopt-A-Beach, Independent Cleanups, general volunteer inquiries, and a new organizational-wide Volunteer Program.
