Interested in learning about coral restoration and gaining first-hand experience at our ongoing groundbreaking project in Seychelles? We’re offering an opportunity for a Master’s student to undertake research on a coral reef restoration project in the Cousin Island Special Reserve MPA.

The chosen intern will live and work with the team for a six-month period and will have the opportunity to run a particular research aspect of the project alongside the team. This position is ideally aimed at a master’s student looking to complete their research thesis as a part of their degree. Additionally, they would be involved in all aspects of our work whilst developing an array of transferable skills within the fields of marine conservation and coral reef restoration.

Applicants must have a PADI Advanced Open Water Certification (Or certification of similar level) with a minimum of 50 logged dives and valid dive Insurance. These roles are both physically and mentally demanding, therefore applicants must have a high level of physical fitness and be able to provide a relevant history of working underwater. Applicants with previous experience within reef restoration and/or coral reef ecological monitoring are desirable.
