The post will concentrate on our Priority Landscape work in Wales, with emphasis on the Celtic Rainforest, Elenydd-Mallaen, North Wales Moors and Y Dirwedd Dyfi. These four landscapes have some of Wales' most specular scenery and the species to match. The areas of work the post will focus on are: - Western Atlantic Woodlands (Y Dirwedd Dyfi and Celtic Rainforest, Elenydd-Mallaen) - Black Grouse on the North Wales Moors - High Nature Value farmland adding connectivity to existing habitats from the valley bottom, through the woodlands and ffridd, to the uplands What the job will involve: The post will be based in mid Wales, office base tbc, but homeworking considered. As a Conservation Officer you will work closely with the Senior Conservation Officers for South and North Wale
