GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Washington County Regional Stewardship Manager is responsible for all MCHT preserves and conservation easement properties in their assigned region in the Downeast area, creating the vision and land management plans for each assigned preserve and establishing collaborative relationships with neighbors, community members, state and local officials, funders, partners, the media, and landowners, as well as other land trusts across the state. This position works with all other Departments at MCHT to achieve land protection, fiscal, community engagement, and policy goals, and reports to the Associate Director of Stewardship.
