JOB DESCRIPTION Field Officer – Surrey This post will involve joining our small reserves management team of permanent staff and casual contractors to carry out practical management activities on around 30 ARC reserves covering over 860 hectares of largely SSSI lowland heathland. Many of these support native and reintroduced sand lizards and smooth snakes and one supports a key natterjack toad population in southern England. The sites are mainly located in the west of Surrey and neighbouring parts of Hampshire and West Sussex within a 25-mile radius of Haslemere.
