West Cumbria Rivers Trust is working with a number of partner organisations to deliver a range of catchment-scale projects across West Cumbria. The Trust is seeking a Project Officer to help deliver our portfolio of projects, specifically the management and delivery of a catchment-scale Natural Flood Management (NFM) focused project, with other multiple benefits for water quality and biodiversity.The project will help to slow the flow of water running through the catchment to benefit communities at risk of flooding, whilst also improving water quality and aquatic and terrestrial biodiversity – making a positive difference to people and the environment.
