The Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife and Heritage Service’s Natural Heritage Program is seeking a Natural Resources Biologist V team member who will be responsible for the conservation and management of nongame wildlife and natural communities in the Western Region with an emphasis on rare, threatened and endangered species and rare natural communities. Work will occur on state and private lands. This work requires a wide breadth and depth of knowledge of those species and their habitats, as well as the environmental threats to specific ecosystems and species, in order to assess their status and determine actions needed to abate the threats and conserve priority species and natural communities and ecosystems that support them.
