As Wigan Greenheart Nature Based Solutions Project Officer, you will identify nature based solutions projects to be delivered via this Landscape Recovery scheme that can attract private or public funding. You will work with others across the Trust and Wigan Council and more widely to assess the level of opportunity for biodiversity net gain, carbon credits or other schemes for sites within the project. You will lead on preparing sites for entry into schemes, working with others in the project team to collate information and with external suppliers as appropriate, helping to set up delivery structures. You will contribute in attracting investment and income to support long term landscape scale improvements in Wigan. You will share and help embed learnings within LWT and more widely.
