The Wild Pine Project Officer role is an exciting opportunity to help unlock the potential for restoring Caledonian Pinewoods to Highland landscapes. With an initial focus on the western Highlands, our Project Officer will be assessing the ecological history, present condition and future potential of wild pinewoods that have had little or no previous recorded documentation. We are looking for someone with experience of ecological survey, a friendly, sensitive approach to liaising with pinewood managers and an enthusiasm for ecological restoration. The Wild Pine project is is a joint partnership project between Trees for Life and Woodland Trust Scotland. Starting salary range: £26,452 – £30,100 per annum (full time) Start date: August 2023
