The School of Renewable Natural Resources at Louisiana State University is seeking 1 experienced field technician to assist a research project evaluating Eastern wild turkey ecology in West Louisiana. One position will begin on January 8, 2024, and will last for 6 months, and one will begin on July 1, 2024, with a duration of 6 months as well as a possibility of extension. Starting dates can be somewhat flexible. Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, capturing, marking, and tracking wild turkeys via radiotelemetry, nest and brood monitoring, vegetation surveys, and data management.
