The multi-disciplinary Wildland Fire Science Lab at Tall Timbers is dedicated to integrating research into management applications and is seeking a technician to assist with fieldwork and data processing. This research position will be located on and around Tall Timbers Research Station and Land Conservancy in Tallahassee, FL, and will require periods of travel primarily throughout the southeast, with possible travel to other regions of the United States. The Wildland Fire Science Technician will support fire research and projects as needed. Field work will be required to maintain long-term experimental plots, sample vegetation, monitor fuels, and collect geospatial data.
