At Wildlife and Ecological Investments (WEI) we host research expeditions with international partners for undergraduate students from all over the world. We run a fynbos ecology and large mammal course and data collection expedition in a private Big-5 reserve in the western Cape. The objectives of this expedition are to research the effects of fire and large herbivores as drivers of fynbos ecosystems. The candidate will be responsible for delivering the fynbos and African ecology lecture series and overseeing fieldwork activities and data handling. This is ideal for an early-career ecologist eager to get lecturing and supervision experience.
