Animal care interns will gain valuable wildlife handling experience while observing and/or participating in cutting-edge research and taking advantage of critical networking opportunities with prominent wildlife professionals.

Primary Internship Responsibilities:

  • Assist staff with daily animal maintenance chores (i.e. feed, water, clean enclosures, process road-kill deer, etc.)
  • Maintain daily records.
  • Assist with the construction of any new enclosures or other projects.
