Summary

This position is located in a State office of the Natural Resources Conservation Service(NRCS). The mission of the organization is to develop and implement sound policies and plans for natural resource development, enhancement, and protection.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership in developing and updating standards and guides on upland and wetland wildlife conservation practice specifications and recommends approval of these standards.
  • Reviews, determines adequacy, and approves portions of field office technical guides having to do with wildlife biology and wetlands, in their work area.
  • Determines training needs, plans for and gives statewide training.
