WILDLIFE BIOLOGIST needed for entry level or mid-level positions with a small environmental consulting company in North Carolina.  Company works primarily with protected species (flora and fauna) and wetlands in Southeastern United States (US).  Biologist will conduct wildlife surveys (ground and aerial), conduct plant surveys, manage and maintain existing datasets, monitor and band red-cockaded woodpeckers (RCW), evaluate project impacts, collect and analyze pine stand data, write Biological/ Environmental Assessments and have contact with clients. Experience banding RCW, climbing Swedish ladders and identifying banded RCWs with a spotting scope is PREFERRED.  The ability to install/ construct RCW artificial cavities (inserts and/ or drilled) is PREFERRED.  Refere
