The Wildlife Biologist II is a mid-level position working in the Wildlife, Range, and Agriculture Department on the Warm Springs Reservation to assist in managing, protecting, conserving, and enhancing the Tribe's natural resources. The primary duties of this position will be to conduct wildlife surveys and monitoring, develop, and manage habitat restoration projects, prepare grants and reports, evaluate wildlife hunter harvest statistics, and review proposed projects and provide management and mitigation recommendations. The position will involve working both independently and in collaboration with other Natural Resources staff, partner agencies, Tribal Committees, and the Tribal public.
