Summary of Position
The Wildlife Ecologist I is responsible for the coordination and implementation of wildlife conservation and management program actions, including wildlife monitoring programs, animal damage management (e.g., mesopredator control, white-tailed deer management), and assists with the development of species conservation and recovery strategies, research projects, and habitat restoration projects. Participates in planning and coordinating the implementation of wildlife conservation and management projects, including scheduling work and follow-up assessments.
