The Utah Department of Natural Resources, Division of Wildlife Resources, has one seasonal position (no benefits) available in the Northeastern Region of Utah. The appointment will last from approximately July 5 to Oct. 5, 2022. Housing is not provided.

Examples of duties

Work as a member of the guzzler maintenance crew in the DWR’s Northeastern Region. Duties would include checking on the guzzlers in the region and documenting maintenance needs using GIS applications. Some of the guzzlers are in remote locations and could require hiking 5+ miles and camping overnight. In addition to providing a maintenance list for the guzzlers in the region, applicants will help with weed-spraying and will be expected to obtain a pesticide applicator permit.
