The Wildlife Science Center (WSC) is a nationally recognized education and research facility that is home to birds of prey, critically endangered red, Mexican gray, and gray wolves, bears, cougars, foxes, bobcats, raccoons, skunks, and lynx. WSC is a unique wolf center that: 1) Provides education programs to 20,000 – 25,000 people annually. 2) Conducts and assists in research involving wolf physiology, behavior, reproduction, and genetics. 3) Trains both student and professional biologists alike through wildlife handling courses. 4) Assists with the conservation of critically endangered red and Mexican gray wolves. Animal care interns will gain valuable wildlife handling experience while observing and/or participating in cutting-edge research and taking advantage of critical network
