Animal care interns will gain valuable wildlife handling experience while observing and/or participating in cutting-edge research and taking advantage of critical networking opportunities with prominent wildlife professionals. Primary Internship Responsibilities: Assist staff with daily animal maintenance chores (i.e. feed, water, clean enclosures, process road-kill deer, etc.) Maintain daily records. Assist with the construction of any new enclosures or other projects. Assist with ongoing research and animal immobilizations. Assist with maintenance and security of facility and grounds.
