Under general supervision, within assigned Division, assists in conducting professional biological studies, or research, conducts field work to support ongoing activities.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Conducts professional biological studies, provides feedback on analysis and assessment of wildlife, or habitat management data using common and established scientific principles and techniques.
  • Performs cougar predation investigations, enters and summarizes kill data.
  • Participates in aerial and ground surveys to monitor and inventory wildlife populations.
  • Participates in aerial and ground telemetry monitoring of radio-marked wildlife.
