Under general supervision, this position will plan and conduct wildlife connectivity and wildlife-vehicle collisions mitigation research in various locations throughout Arizona working with a range of taxa.

Duties

  • Primary duties will include leading field crews during wildlife surveys including road mortality surveys and desert tortoise occupancy surveys; maintaining equipment and managing logistics in preparation for fieldwork; maintaining trail cameras; office-based processing of image data collected from trail cameras; assisting in the planning and execution of large-scale collaring efforts for ungulates; performing aerial and ground telemetry.
