Position Description Under general direction, Wildlife Staff Specialists perform program research, planning, analysis and evaluation; draft proposed legislation, policies, procedures and regulations related to wildlife management programs and activities throughout the State. This senior level science position develops and directs implementation of science-based projects and investigations to manage and conserve nongame species in Nevada.  Work is guided by the Nevada State Wildlife Action Plan which serves as the Department’s biological strategic plan for 267 Species of Greatest Conservation Need and the 20 key habitats these species rely upon.
