Following a successful application to the Green Recovery Challenge Fund we are recruiting trainees for our ‘A Wilder Herefordshire’ project. This project aims to turn the tide on wildlife loss in Herefordshire by working with owners of important wildlife sites to survey, create, restore and connect habitats across the County and enable more people to engage and conserve nature.

In particular, the project will:

  • Work with communities of landowners and farmers to enhance and create wildlife rich sites particularly with a view to delivering the Lawton Principles.
  • Train young people in the survey and identification of habitat and species and provide the skills to secure work in the conservation sector
