THE ROLE The Woodland Trust Campaigning function unites and enables the public to make a real difference for woods and trees through getting directly involved, - by helping to protect woodlands and trees which are at risk, and by helping to influence bigger public policy decisions through joining campaign actions and the growing Tree Charter movement. As one of the Trust’s senior leaders The Head of Campaigns will lead a UK team responsible for the Trust’s casework and campaigns to save woods and trees under threat, for public facing campaigns in support of the Trusts policy objectives, for the Trust’s contributions to the Tree Charter movement, and for our urban/street trees programme.
