You will work as part of a small team in the establishment and maintenance of the estate woodlands. Duties include chainsaw operations, cutting and splitting firewood, use a Forester Swivel Saw to cut posts, planks and rails for estate use, and assisting the gamekeeper in preparing for the pheasant shoots which take place on the estate.   The successful applicant must be trained to a minimum level of NPTC units CS30 & CS31 for chainsaw use and hold a full UK Drivers Licence.   It would be desirable to have some experience of felling large trees and tractor driving, hold NPTC units PA1 & PA6 for herbicide spraying and a first aid certificate, however all necessary training can be given to the right applicant if required.   Salary will be commensurate
