Overview

Passionate about nature, you understand the importance of creating a world where people and wildlife can thrive together. WWF, the world’s leading independent conservation organisation, is looking for a Post Production Technical Manager to join its Content Unit, and help develop cutting-edge communications that engage the nation in our causes around the world, attracting new supporters, and building a movement to accelerate the action urgently needed to actively restore our natural world.

A technical whiz, you will be responsible for managing our new video edit suites, cataloguing process, edit server and storage system and play an integral role in helping us to produce world-class stories and content which engage and inspire audiences to act and donate.  You will set up and manage robust workflows to ingest, store, search and retrieve video media and co-ordinate access and distribution of multi-format video, to a team of freelance editors as well as doing a bit of editing yourself.

To play your part in saving our planet you must be an adept problem solver with strong technical expertise and a desire to fix things before others know they are broken. You will be familiar with camera formats and technical specs and possess an excellent knowledge of, and practical experience of, latest video editing software (including Adobe Premiere), Photoshop and graphics packages. You must have a demonstrable track record of success in editing (re-purposing and re-packaging) compelling short-form video content across a broad range of different audiences, formats and channels and of supporting the fast-paced delivery of video content to take advantage of opportunities to spread our message and promote our cause.

Enthusiastic, agile, positive, constructive and well-organised, you must be able to juggle multiple priorities – and of course, you will also be able to demonstrate a commitment to the natural world and WWF’s core mission.
