The River Foss Project Assistant will work primarily around the north-east of York. The post holder will help deliver a new Living Landscape project in North Yorkshire working with external partners, local communities and as part of a team with other staff, volunteers and trainees. As well as being passionate and enthusiastic about our mission to secure Living Landscapes and Living Seas, you will have excellent communication skills to work with our existing networks and stakeholders. You will be highly organised and have a positive ‘can do’ attitude. We are looking for someone with good knowledge of or willing to learn natural flood management techniques as well the ability to work with farmers and landowners.
