The River Foss Project Officer will work primarily around the north-east of York. The post holder will help deliver a new Living Landscape project in North Yorkshire working with external partners and local communities and as part of a team with other staff, volunteers and trainees. As well as being passionate and enthusiastic about our mission to secure Living Landscapes and Living Seas, you will have good knowledge of flood management techniques and experience in improving water quality. You will have excellent communication skills to work with our existing networks as well as building and maintaining these relationships. You will be a keen team player with the ability to work under your own initiative as appropriate.
