The Young People’s Trust for the Environment (YPTE) requires a new Education Officer, who will work from home for 20 hours per week during school term time only (38 weeks per year). A contract of 12 months duration is being offered. The Education Officer will be responsible for the creation of new lesson plans on a range of environmental topics to extend YPTE’s existing library of lesson plan suites. They will also be required to update existing lesson plan suites and online fact sheets as required. The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), experience of working either in primary or secondary schools, a good knowledge of the National Curriculum for Key Stages 1-3 and a willingness to fill in any gaps in knowledge. They will be highly computer literate and ab
