Bede’s School is looking to appoint a new manager for its unique “school zoo”. The zoo is an integral part of our large and successful school, occupying a purpose-built site and including amongst its collection Binturongs, Kinkajous, Ring-tailed and Black Lemurs, Squirrel Monkeys, Grandidier’s Vontsira, Grey Hornbill, Violet Turaco, and many more - about 50 species are held here, with 400+ individuals.


  • The Zoo Manager will oversee the day-to-day running of the school zoo. You will be working alongside our head of Animal Management, Mr Paul Juniper, who is one of the school’s assistant heads, and who has previously had many years experience working in a number of British collections.
