This position is responsible for contributing to the care of the zoo’s 3000 animals of 300 different species through preparing, organizing and distributing animal diets.  Job duties associated with this position include but are not limited to the following:  diet preparation, maintaining service areas in a clean and organized fashion, providing exceptional animal care, preparation of animal training and enrichment items, public guest interactions, animal record keeping, educational programs, lifting and carrying up to 50#, working in extreme varying temperatures and handling daily multiple deliveries.  While this position does not work directly with the animal; collection, it is a vital part of the overall care, well-being and welfare necessary to keep the organization functioning  p
