Primary Purpose of this Position: The NC Zoo is seeking an enthusiastic team member to be part of its Cypress Swamp work unit.  The successful candidate will be working with a variety of North American species including a diverse collection of mammals, avian, amphibian, reptile, fish and invertebrate species.  An emphasis for this position will be placed on the reptilian and amphibian species housed in the Cypress Swamp work unit. Species include but are not limited to: American alligators, Alligator snapping turtles, Puerto Rican crested toads (breeding colony), Eastern indigo snakes and various other reptile and amphibian species, particularly those found in the North Carolina Sandhills region.
