Hi there,

I am 27 and finished a Masters in Conservation Biology 8 months ago. I’m searching for paid employment in animal conservation. Although I have an affinity for Africa (spent 8 months in Malawi at 22), I would be happy to work anywhere in the world. However, I am struggling to find paid employment for someone of my (lack of) experience.

My ideal job would involve a lot of mucking in, and be in the field of conserving large carnivores or the great apes.

Firstly, is it unrealistic to expect to land a paid position with minimal experience? And secondly, do you have any suggestions for finding the perfect role?
