Hi there,

I moved back to London a month ago and I am looking for a job in the field of conservation or environmental science. I have my Masters degree in Conservation Biology from the University of Cape Town in South Africa.

I am particularly interested in animal behaviour along with human-animal conflict. I realise that there is not as much scope in this field in the UK as there is in South Africa so I am keen to get involved in different aspects of conservation. I would be happy to work in environmental consulting, as a ranger or potentially even as an intern if the pay was enough to allow me to survive in London. I am very much open to learning new skills and keen to gain some UK experience.

I have sent off many applications for a variety of different positions but so far I have had no luck. Can you give me any advice for finding a job in London? Are there any conservation-specific recruitment agencies in the UK?

I look forward to hearing from you!

Kind regards,

Frances
