About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Public Rights of Way and Country Parks team at Devon County Council. As a Devon Countryside Access Forum (DCAF) Officer, you will play a key role in facilitating the effective functioning of the DCAF, which provides independent advice to Devon County Council and others on improving outdoor recreation and countryside access. You will be part of a team of public rights of way officers based in Exeter, supporting health and wellbeing, environmental sustainability, and economic vitality. Your responsibilities will include arranging, publicising, attending and minuting DCAF meetings, preparing agenda papers, reports and newsletters, coordinating consultation responses, and managing the administration required to run the Forum and support its volunteer members. RequirementsExperience
Experience in public access, countryside management, or transferable skills is desirable. Proven ability to manage and coordinate meetings, events and training, and communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals and organisations at local, regional and national levels.
