Founder & Director
Nick founded Conservation Careers in 2013 with one goal: to make it easier for people to find meaningful work protecting the natural world. He has a PhD in Barn Owl conservation, and has raised over $2.5 million for conservation activities. At BirdLife International, he worked closely with conservation organisations in over 120 countries globally.
Kristi Foster
Head of Coaching
Kristi leads the coaching programme at Conservation Careers and has worked across Africa, the UK, Australia, and Latin America. With a Master’s in Conservation Biology and a background in science communication, she has coached hundreds of conservationists to overcome career challenges, grow their confidence, and take purposeful action towards their goals.

Lloyd has over 25 years’ experience in communications across the agency and conservation sectors. He’s worked with organisations including WWF, Greenpeace, and World Animal Protection, helping them tell stories that move people to act. As Head of Marketing at Conservation Careers, Lloyd helps conservationists communicate with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Felix has trained teams from over 45 countries in the Conservation Standards and advised organisations such as WWF, UNDP, and Denver Zoo. A CCNet Award recipient and co-founder of Ivakale.org, he brings over a decade of experience in strategic planning and conservation management, blending scientific rigour with creativity and care.

Dr Kate Evans is the Founder and Director of Elephants for Africa and an award-winning conservation biologist. With over 25 years’ experience leading wildlife projects and raising over £1.5 million in funding, Kate helps conservationists transform ideas into reality. She lectures in fundraising for conservation at the University of Lincoln, UK.
Dr Helen Gibbons

Based Conservation
Helen brings over 25 years’ experience in conservation, leadership, and community engagement. She’s worked with organisations including WWF, the Gorilla Fund, and Maasai Mara Conservancies. A certified coach and facilitator, Helen helps conservation professionals and organisations grow their impact with empathy, confidence, and clarity.
Pedro Ribeiro

Rewilding
Pedro is a rewilding expert based in Portugal, with hands-on experience in ecological restoration, bird conservation, and community-led conservation. His work spans natural grazing, large-scale monitoring, and stakeholder engagement. Pedro helps new rewilders understand how to work with nature — not against it — to restore thriving ecosystems.

Marine Conservation
David is a marine conservation scientist, policy expert, and science communicator with extensive experience working at the intersection of research, policy, and practice. His work supports organisations tackling some of the biggest challenges facing our oceans today.

Leo is an environmental advocate and sustainability educator whose studies at Bucknell University, the National University of Singapore, and the University of Cambridge were supported by prestigious scholarships.
