As part of the American Chemical Society’s goal to “Advance the broader chemistry enterprise and its practitioners for the benefit of Earth and its people,” the Society’s Committee on Environmental Improvement seeks to recognize those individuals or groups who have made exemplary contributions to the incorporation of sustainability* into chemical education. A goal of the recognition program is to encourage dissemination of the important work of creatively incorporating sustainability into chemical education.
