Are you experienced with using and managing websites and apps? British Birds is currently developing its digital offer. We are looking for someone to support our staff team and Board with this work, including technical support with final development and roll out and supporting our engagement with customers. Other relevant support to the staff team may also be considered. We are anticipating a commitment of up to 10 hours a week to take this work forward over the next year. The successful appointee would be paid between £7,200 – £8,800 per annum depending upon experience and skills.

Role Description

  • Develop an understanding of the website and app.
  • Assist with ongoing development and roll out.
  • Provide technical support relating to website and app, for customers and staff.
  • Assist with other aspects of support to the staff team as required.
  • It is proposed that this will be a self-employed consultant role, working to an agreed contract for 12 months.

Skills and experience

  • A good team player.
  • Working knowledge of websites and apps.
  • Good communication skills and ability to deliver effective customer support.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Self-motivated and able to work remotely.
  • A knowledge of the British birding scene is desirable, but not essential.
