Conservation Delivery Officer
Salary: £38,220- £42,839 per annum
Grade: JK
Contract: Fixed Term Until March 2029
Hours: 30 hours per week
Location: Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire - Nidderdale National Landscape
Nidderdale National Landscape is looking for a talented and committed individual to take on the role of Wetlands Conservation Delivery Officer to lead the delivery of a major wetland habitat creation project, working closely with farmers and landowners across the area.
This is an opportunity to make a real difference to habitat conservation in the National Landscape. You should have good knowledge of land management and conservation, as well as experience of working with land managers. You will have been involved in the successful delivery of wetland conservation projects and be an excellent communicator.
You will lead the overall development of wetland projects, which will involve negotiating with land managers to agree locations for wetland habitat creation sites and designing the schemes. You will then deliver the wetland habitat creation, including managing contractors and project finances.
You will be based at the National Landscape’s office in Pateley Bridge, where you will be part of a team who work on natural and cultural heritage projects with a wide range of partners. A full driving license and access to a car is essential.
