An experienced Ecologist is required to provide extended maternity cover within the Peak District National Park Authority’s Natural Environment & Rural Economy Team. The post-holder will co-ordinate a partnership to develop a Nature Recovery Plan for the National Park and lead on development of the Plan. Other duties will include input to nature conservation policy and project work; managing the Authority’s ecological database; and assisting team members with consultations relating to the natural environment. Applicants must be competent ecologists with experience of nature conservation and land-use policy, preferably in the uplands, together with experience of working with others to develop partnerships.
