The Austrian Academy of Sciences awards three prizes for outstanding pre-scientific work in the fields of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences (physics, chemistry, biology) and technology (e.g. mechanical engineering, mechatronics, etc.).

Target group

Pupils in the 8th grade of an AHS and the 5th grade of a relevant BHS (e.g. HTL) in Austria, whose pre-scientific work or diploma thesis was written for the Matura 2022, are invited to apply .
