A Little Celebration: 100,000 Jobs & 200,000 Followers
Every now and then, it’s worth pausing to celebrate. This month, Conservation Careers reached two huge milestones that we couldn’t have dreamt of when we started out 13 years ago.
We’ve just published our 100,000th conservation job (100,172 to be exact), and we’ve also passed 200,000 followers on LinkedIn (205,834 and counting).
When we started Conservation Careers, we had a hunch.
We believed the world needed better career support for conservationists — some of the most important workers on the planet.
We also sensed there were countless people who longed to work in wildlife conservation but didn’t know where to start, how to get going, or how to thrive once they were in.
Fast forward 13 years, and we’ve helped nearly 24,000 members to date.
These milestones aren’t just numbers — they represent real people taking steps into conservation, finding jobs, building careers, and making an impact for wildlife and the planet.
We’re proud of how far we’ve come, but even more excited about where we’re going.
The path is still being laid ahead of us, and right now we’re moving quicker, faster, and better than ever before.
We’re currently working on certificated trainings in Rewilding and Community-Based Conservation which will be out soon, with a pipeline of courses to follow.
So today, we’re having a little mini celebration — and we wanted to share it with you.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
Here’s to the next chapter, and to helping even more conservationists to achieve career success; creating a world where wildlife thrives.
