The RSPB has a long tradition of advocating policies to help deliver its core charitable purpose of wildlife conservation. To improve the effectiveness of this work, and respond to the challenges of devolved decision making, we are appointing a small team to work with our newly established Policy and Advocacy Strategy Board. The Advocacy Programme Officer will work with the Advocacy Prgramme Manager to assist the Strategy Board and functional teams in setting the strategy, and in planning, resourcing, prioritising and coordinating the RSPB's advocacy programme across the UK and within the EU.
