We have openings for trainees, apprentices and survey assistants.

These are valuable opportunities for recent graduates, experienced volunteers or self-employed freelance ecologists.

We are looking for people who are enthusiastic and capable to assist with all aspects of ecology work, particularly surveys of bats, birds and habitats.

Previous experience of conducting surveys for protected species is advantageous but not essential, as we will give you full training.

Most of our survey work is located in North England, the Midlands and North Wales.

Pay is dependent on your ability.

Initially, successful applicants will need to be available for a minimum of two days and/or two evenings per week.
